Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad is a renowned scholar of Management, Philosophy and Inventive Business Studies. Besides his Entrepreneurial Success in the shape of University of Management and Technology (HEC’s W Category awarded first class institute with 5 schools educating 5000 students), he holds 25 silver years of practically diverse experience as he has strived to build world class business support units in the areas of Finance, Sensitive and Defense Technology, Mobile Technology, Leadership, Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Town Planning, Micro and Macro Level Academia.

Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad has been acting as Rector, University of Management of Technology (UMT), Lahore since 2004. Before the inception of UMT he held the position as Director General, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) from 1992 to 1999. In accumulation to his current position, he also acts as Chairman for ILM Colleges, The Knowledge School project, MIZAB Engineering, I-Ways International, First IBL Modaraba and Association for Academic Quality, (AFAQ). Dr. Hasan has been the President of Association of Management Development Institutions in Pakistan (AMDIP) for four years. He is the Member Executive Board and Executive Council of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), and Asia Academy of Management respectively. Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad is also having the positions as Member, Board of Governors of Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Tricastmedia (Pvt) Ltd and International Business Forum, Turkey.
